Ethical collaboration

We believe that collaboration, wherever possible, is the most effective way to achieve our investors’ goals.

We work with a number of service providers such as Vigeo-EIRIS, ISS and Trucost who provide valuable inputs into the work we do.

Our engagement collaborations are key to influencing the behaviour of the companies we invest in.

The principal way in which we exercise collaboration is through the ecumenical Church Investors Group.

Other collaborative engagements are conducted through membership of the IIGCC (Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change) and the PRI (Principles for Responsible Investment).

We attained the highest rating of A+ for our overall Strategy & Governance in the 2020 PRI Assessment Report. We were also rated A/A+ for listed equities.

Farm animal welfare and
addressing the appropriate
use of antibiotics was a
recent ethical collaboration.
